How Estimates And Supplements Work
The first estimate often reflects only visible damage, so it is normal for costs to change after teardown. When hidden damage is found, the shop submits a supplement with photos and updated labor and parts. This back and forth can add days, especially if approvals are slow. Ask who approves supplements and how often you will receive updates.
