Collision Coverage

Collision helps repair or replace your car when you hit another vehicle or object, or you roll over, regardless of fault. You pay the deductible first, then the insurer pays up to the cars actual cash value. It typically covers pothole damage or a single-car crash, but it will not cover normal wear, mechanical breakdowns, or a higher value than the car is worth without special terms.
