Building A Simple TCO Spreadsheet

Start with net purchase cost minus incentives you can actually claim, then add financing interest if applicable. Add annual energy, insurance, registration, and maintenance, plus a reserve for tires and unexpected repairs. Subtract projected resale value at the end of ownership. Divide by years and miles to get cost per month and per mile, then rerun scenarios for high mileage, fast charging, and lower resale.
