Take wide and close photos of both cars, license plates, damage, debris, skid marks, and road signs. Capture the other drivers insurance card and drivers license if possible. Record weather and lighting conditions, and write down what happened while it is fresh. Ask witnesses for names and phone numbers, since they may leave before police arrive.
